Lauren is coming home after an 11 year absence to bury her father. Something is not right. Nightmares of her past and shaky visions of the present are starting to collide together and the reality underneath is nothing but sticks and mud.
Another very good one from Tim Waggoner. About half way thru, this one takes a sharp turn and goes in a new direction, which could have been a disaster, but Tim handles it deftly and kept the story on track. I look forward to more from Mr. Waggoner. I received and advance review copy of this novella from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
