I will admit that this book was pretty brutal but I don't think it was overdone (maybe in a few parts). As a matter of fact I think that Tim and Animal could have used a bit more brutality at the end. I don't think they received nearly enough "comeuppance" for the pain and suffering they inflicted upon others. The ending felt a bit rushed and the editing needed some help - but overall I did like this book and would recommend it. A strong stomach is recommended as well.
